Dani Dash is from Harlem, NYC. She was born on February 21st and she is a Pisces sun sign. Dani Dash is not dating anyone at the moment. That buttery sweet voice belts a unique sound that commands you to listen. Having started out writing songs at an early age she eventually tried her luck on YouTube and caught the attention of A&R Antonio Roded who had ties to Def Jam. She was brought on to write and reference records for major artists which spawned the 2012 single “Keep Up”. Later she went on to create an EP titled “HighNotes” in 2017.  In 2021 she released a 2nd project titled “Miss Me.. but Let Me Go”. Her sound is unmatched and the way she captivates you with her storytelling and raw emotion is top tier. A refreshing style of music in a world full of glorified toxic jams; she sings about not being afraid to express love. She speaks for the women of TODAY with an energy reminiscent of the Nostalgic 90’s R&B/Soul era. Track after track is worth playback, definitely a no skip type of project.

 

 Dani Dash is definitely destined for a lengthy successful career, she is one of the ones to look out for in R&B in the present and beyond. With features from artists like  and Nino Man, Capella Grey with their hit "Poker Face", which is a reggae like calypso inspired R&B groove that makes you want to wine your body, shes sure to be next up! With stamps from Jazze Pha, TLC, Quality Control, Hot 97's DJ Drewski and DJ Spazo, DJ Chubby Chub, and more she's definitely a soon to be Heavy Hitter and Problem coming straight out of NYC!

 

Fast forward 4 projects later with The Last Laugh (APRIL 2022) and the new fresh, personal and sensual record “From Dash with Love” (MAY 2024) , the artistry is undeniable as well as the overall growth in musical expression. In this current project you almost feel as if this one is the most personal. It starts off on a soft and submissive almost vulnerable air and gradually crescendos into this force of Divine Feminism and Power. You can appreciate the work put into this project even more so because some of these tracks were completely written, composed and produced by Dash herself!  Time and time again Dash proves she is so versatile and can make anything her own. Perfect example “Freakin You” released 8/08/21 is an infectious, R&B revamp of the ICONIC girl group “TLC’s ‘Creep”. Her spin on the lyrics while still being true to the essence of the original was immaculate. Packed with buttery smooth harmonies and provocative lyrics Dash takes “Creep” to a whole different wave with “Freakin You”. The success of this record beamed Dash on  series of Tour Stops with QC DJ's, Roc Nation and more! There's so much more in store from Dash and her recent partnership with ROC Nation Distribution is another notch under her musical successor belt! Stay tuned, it's only the beginning!
